Supplementary application process for the second program “University of the Best” has begun. The program is a modern educational initiative run by the University of Silesia and the city of Katowice. In the second program it has extended the support for outstanding students from Katowice with Chorzów and Sosnowiec.

The goal of the undertaking is to develop the interests of the most talented students of the Upper Silesian and the Zagłębie Metropolital Region. The main method of the program is individual education based on tutoring. The task of the academic supervisor is to help the student find the optimal path for scientific development and adapt it to his interests, as well as motivating him to long-term work on personal and scientific development.

The application process will last until September 15. The program may be joined by candidates who on the day of project commencement will be pupils of the eighth grade of primary school or secondary school students, with the exception of final exam classes.
