More than PLN 34 million will go to 52 universities as part of the “Didactic Excellence of Universities” project. The funds come from the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program, co-financed by the European Social Fund. They will be allocated to supporting organizational changes and increasing the competences of staff in the higher education system.
The greatest support was given to the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw (PLN 993,641), informs the Ministry of Education and Science. Nearly PLN 1 million will also go to the WSB University in Toruń and the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. Over 900,000 PLN will be given to: Bydgoszcz University of Technology, University of Humanities and Life Sciences in Częstochowa, Białystok University of Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology, University of Łódź and AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
The aim of the project is to improve the institutional capacity of the university and teaching competences of the staff by implementing changes at the university, including in the management of the teaching process and quality of education.
