1st Department of General Surgery of the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum in Krakow – as the only Polish clinic – has been included in the prestigious world group of surgical clinics cooperating within the international project Innovations in Surgery.

The program is run by the American clinic Cleveland Clinic. The project provides regular exchange of knowledge and experience, through monthly videoconferences.

In addition to the Cleveland Clinic, the project also involves other American surgical clinics: Mayo Clinic, Harvard University, John Hopkins, Columbia University and Mount Sinai New York clinics.
