Prof. Zbigniew Koruba, Rector of Swietokrzyski Technical University (Politechnika Świętokrzyska (PŚk) in Kielce, and Stanisław Sobczyk, Vice President of the Management Board of Lafarge Cement S.A., a company that produces innovative construction solutions, signed a cooperation agreement.

Thanks to the agreement with Lafarge Cement S.A, PŚk students will be able to count on financial support and mentoring during the writing of their thesis as part of a scholarship programme organised by the company. It is aimed at third-year engineering students.

Researchers from the Polytechnic will be given the opportunity to conduct research on new products that are used in the construction industry. Broadly understood cooperation between the University of Technology and business is a guarantee of success in terms of innovation and implementation of interesting projects, solutions or inventions created at the University.
