SWPS University in Warsaw has joined the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA). The decision to become a member was taken unanimously by the Alliance’s Board of Directors. SWPS University is the only Polish private university to have joined the European Universities.

Inclusion in the European Universities Initiative was a priority of the new SWPS University International Strategy for 2022-2025. Membership in the alliance means for our university a significant strengthening of its position and competitiveness on the international arena.

“Today we have our place on the Polish map of higher education institutions. The next challenge is before us. We want to find our place as a European university. The way to do this is by joining SWPS University in the European Reform University Alliance”, said Professor Roman Cieślak, rector of SWPS University.

SWPS University has the status of an associate partner. Official accession may take place in the first half of 2023 following the outcome of the European Universities Initiative competition announced for November 2022.
