On July 26-27, 2019, the Faculty of Chemistry of the Warsaw University of Technology is holding the BioLAB graduates’ Symposium: Visiting Research Graduate Traineeship – the first event of this type connecting graduates of the program lasting over 18 years.

The National Academic Exchange Agency emphasizes that almost 300 students from Polish universities took part in it from the beginning of the program. For one year, they participated in research in the field of biological sciences in one of four American institutions: the University of Virginia, the University of Chicago, the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation or the University of Texas: Southwestern Medical Center. The results of their research conducted during the internship repeatedly formed the basis for articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as “Nature”, “Proteins: Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics” or “Acta Crystallographica.”

Participants of the event will take part in presentations and meetings during which they will share their knowledge, experience and achievements in the scientific and business environment.
