Until the first of October students can apply for the competition of the Mayor of the City of Szczecin for the best PhD and master thesis in the humanities in 2018.

The competition aims to increase the interest of students and young scientists in the issues related to Szczecin and create conditions enabling young, creative people to shape the creative and innovative development policy. One of the goals is also development and promotion of the city, as well as increasing the interest of the inhabitants in activities aimed at economic, cultural, scientific and social revival of Szczecin.

The competition will be run by the Award Committee appointed by the Mayor of Szczecin. The authors of the awarded works will receive cash prizes and diplomas.
