The European project Clean Energy from Hydrogen-Metal Systems was launched at the University of Szczecin. It is coordinated by a research group from the University’s Institute of Physics and will be implemented for 4 years by a European consortium associating 17 scientific institutions.
Project Clean Energy from Hydrogen-Metal Systems aims to investigate the possibility of creating a new cheap, safe and clean source of energy. The project is implemented under the European program Horizon 2020 and the call “Future and emerging technologies”, organized in order to finance ground-breaking research projects with a high implementation risk and high development potential for the European economy and society.
The project implementers include Maritime University of Szczecin, University of Uppsala, University of Technology in Turin, University of Siena, Josef Stefan Institute from Slovenia as well as start-ups and commercial companies cooperating with leading scientists from the USA and Canada.
