The National Centre for Science (NCN) is inviting applications for an international research project competition called Democracy, Governance and Trust (DGT), which it is implementing in collaboration with the Trans-Atlantic Platform for Social Sciences and Humanities (T-AP) network.
The DGT Call 2023 is open to international consortia of a minimum of three research teams from at least three participating countries, from both sides of the Atlantic: Brazil, Croatia, France, Canada, Poland, South Africa, the United States, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The competition covers nine main thematic areas: Concepts, understandings and models of democracy, governance and trust; Education; Media, information and communication; Economy and economic systems; Identity, discrimination, marginalisation and inequality; Ecosystems and environments; Epistemologies, knowledge and experience; History and culture; Power and conflict.
Female scientists whose projects meet the criterion of basic research can apply to NCN.
