The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice invites participants to the scientific conference “Challenges for a senior policy in the 21st century”. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the consequences for the aging population.

The conference, scheduled for October 11, is addressed to scientists dealing with the labor law and social security, as well as to employees of the Social Insurance Institution, marshal offices, government institutions and organizations of senior policy.

Demographic changes require integrated activities covering many spheres of social life, both in the field of law and social insurance, as well as labor market policies and health care.

The conference will inaugurate scientific cooperation between the University of Silesia and the Social Insurance Institution implemented under the agreement signed in 2017.
