The Tarnów Academy will soon join the group of universities that educate future doctors. This was the information given during a press conference by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Włodzimierz Bernacki.
The Tarnów Academy was established in 1998 as the country’s first public vocational higher education institution, providing undergraduate and engineering education. It operated as the Tarnów Academy of Applied Sciences until 31 May 2023. On 1 June 2023, the university changed its name and operates as Tarnów Academy.
The academy has an A category within the scientific discipline of ‘fine arts and art conservation’ and a B+ category within the discipline of ‘automation, electronics and electrical engineering’.
At present, the Tarnów Academy offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree studies in 27 majors in 6 faculties.
