On Sunday, September 12, 2021, we met the medalists of the international competition of Mars rovers, which took place at the Kielce University of Technology track. The first place in the on site category was received by the IMPULS team from Kielce, and in the remote category, DJS Antariksh from India.
The 7th European Rover Challenge was held for the first time in two categories (ON-SITE) and (REMOTE). This year’s competitions took place on a track whose surface is inspired by a fragment of the volcanic plain of Mars called Elysium Planitia. The tasks prepared by the jurors reflected the work of engineers of the largest space agencies during the exploration of Mars.
In the in site category, the Polish team was followed by: ITU ROVER TEAM from Turkey and EPFL XPLORE from Switzerland.
The second place in the remote category was taken by ERIG from Germany, and the third by ROBOCLYDE from Great Britain.
