The University of Silesia for the 21st time is organizing an international spelling competition “Test of Polish Language”. The aim of the competition is to select the Foreign Master of Polish Language.

The competition will start on Wednesday, August 15 at 10.30 in the Conference Center of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn. Students will compete for the title of the Foreign Master of Polish Language and for free participation in the XXIX summer school of Polish language, literature and culture. The Jury will also award the titles of Eagle and Little Eagle of Polish Spelling and the prizes “5+” for students who are just beginning their Polish courses.

“Test of Polish Language” is one of the most important events for the summer schools of language, literature and Polish culture. The competition task is a dictation of the text, which is prepared especially for the needs of the competition by Polish linguists and specialists in the field of spelling.
