The State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Targ has signed the first in its history agreement on cooperation with the military formation – the 21st Brigade of Podhale Rifles.

The State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Targ is involved in the pilot program of the Academic League (Legia Akademicka), and for its performing, the alliance with the military formation will be very valuable. Academic League, providing military education of volunteer students, is a joint project of the Ministries of National Defense and Science and Higher Education.

The agreement obliges both parties to disseminate volunteering activities for state defense, patriotic education, pro-defense education of students of the Podhale high school and integrating military milieus and academic youth. According to the agreement, the 21st Brigade will accept students who have applied to the Academic League. In July and August 2018, 1000 new members are expected.
