The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has settled the second NAWA Professorship programme. As part of the programme, three outstanding scientists will come to Polish universities.
The second NAWA Professorship was aimed at universities and research units that conduct research in the fields of natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical and health sciences and agricultural sciences.
The researchers will begin their stays in Poland from 2023: Prof Tomasz Taylor, from the USA will carry out the NAWA Professorship at the University of Warsaw; Prof Ronald Jan Hendrik Borra, from the Netherlands will carry out the NAWA Professorship at the Medical University of Gdansk; Prof Brendan Kennedy, from Australia will carry out the NAWA Professorship at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun.
The aim of the NAWA Professorship programme is to support the highest quality of research and teaching activities carried out by Polish academic and scientific units by including world-class foreign scientists in these activities.
