Twenty-five teams from 12 countries, including Polish KNR Rover Team and SKA Robotics from the Warsaw University of Technology and AGH Space Systems from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, will take part in the prestigious robotics competition European Rover Challenge, which will be held on 15-17 September 20223 on the largest Mars track in the world in Kielce.
Participants in the competition were selected through elimination. Ultimately, the final competition will include 25 teams from 12 countries: Switzerland, Greece, the Czech Republic, India, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Bangladesh, Spain, Egypt, the UK and Poland.
The European Rover Challenge is an international competition designed to promote technological development. Their main goal is to create a standardised test and benchmark system for planetary robots, as well as a platform for career development in the space sector.
