Three young scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology have obtained grants from the Preludium program of the National Science Center, which funds research projects for people starting their careers without a PhD degree.
The team implementing the project should have a maximum of three people. There are no age limits. The research could be scheduled for a year, two or three years.
Grants were awarded to: Monika Duda (mechanical faculty, “Analysis of the effect of fatigue crack closing in the conditions of complex state of stress in terms of energy); Karol Gotfryd (department of basic problems of technology, for “Algorithmic aspects of processing and analysis of large data sets in distributed systems”) and Karolina Kordek (chemical department for “The influence of thermal modification of carbon fibers on their electrocatalytic properties in the reaction of oxygen separation from water”).
