On January 22, 2021 Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Tomasz Rzymkowski as the secretary of state in the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) and as the government plenipotentiary for general education and pedagogical supervision.
The nomination was handed over to Tomasz Rzymkowski by the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek.
Tomasz Rzymkowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) and has also completed post-graduate European self-government study at KUL (2010) and Accounting study at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (2011).
In 2018, he presented his doctoral dissertation “The system of the Republic of Poland in the provisions of the constitutional law of April 23, 1935 against the systems of other states” at the Catholic University of Lublin.
He is fluent in German and English.
