The Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń has started application process for the third Summer The Toruń Astrophysics / Physics Summer Program (TAPS).
The program is addressed to students from Poland and abroad interested in the implementation of holiday research projects as part of research conducted by physicists and astrophysicists from Toruń. This year, students can choose from 21 research topics: study of star forming processes in distant galaxies, quantum nanooptics, plasmon networks, atomic clock applications and ultra-precision optical spectroscopy.
In addition to the implementation of projects, workshop participants will have the opportunity to listen once a week to scientific lectures on research topics that are currently explored in physics and astronomy. Speakers will be scientists from Toruń and guests invited from other centers.
