PLN 100 million from the European Funds for Social Development programme will be allocated by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) for the development of qualifications and competencies of employees sought by the labour market. In the competition for universities, applications can be submitted until 14 November 2023.

The European Year of Skills, an initiative announced by the European Commission, is reflected in another competition announced by NCBR. This time, universities will be able to develop their offer addressed to adults who want to improve or supplement their professional competences and qualifications, in line with the expectations of employers and the labour market.

‘Through the competition ‘Development of qualifications and competences of adults’, we want to enable higher education institutions to turn the idea of lifelong learning into concrete proposals. In view of the changes that are taking place before our eyes, continuous professional development is a necessity’, said Dr Jacek Orzeł, acting director of NCRD.
