In connection with the increased risk of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection and subsequent cases of COVID-19 in Poland, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin decided to introduce preventive measures to prevent the spread of this virus, and thus reducing the risk of an epidemic. The decision was taken after the recommendation of the Government Crisis Management Team.
The Minister suspended all teaching activities conducted by universities supervised by the Minister of Science and Higher Education in Poland. This applies to education at all forms of BA, MA and PhD courses and schools as well as courses and training courses organized as part of universities, post-graduate studies or in other forms.
The suspension of teaching activities is valid 12th of March 12 till 25th of March 2020.
The regulation does not limit the possibility of conducting scientific activity.
