The Dr Jan Biziel University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz, a part of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, will be enlarged with a modern, five-story building with a landing pad for helicopters of the Polish Medical Air Rescue.
The building will include the Department of Hematology and Proliferative Diseases of the Hematologic System, Department of Phoniatrics and Audiology with the Department of Otolaryngology and Laryngological Oncology with the Subdivision of Maxillary Surgery, Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Operating Block with 11 operating rooms, Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Sterilization and Disinfection and Disinfection. auditoriums and classrooms for students.
The building will accommodate 144 hospital beds, and its area will be almost 18.4 thousand square meters. The construction is one of the investments carried out under the Multiannual Medical Program for the expansion and modernization of University Hospital No. 2 in Bydgoszcz, almost entirely financed by the Ministry of Health.
