The University Hospital of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow has signed a contract for creating the first Olympus reference center in Central and Eastern Europe. Its activities will provide doctors and students with access to the latest technologies and innovative solutions in the field of endoscopic procedures and will allow to create the best training base in this part of Europe.

The signed contract assumes that both institutions will start close cooperation, resulting in the creation of the Olympus reference center on the hospital premises.

Together with Olympus, the University Hospital of the Jagiellonian University will create a training system “Olympus Academy” enabling the training of students, nurses and doctors in all aspects of endoscopic procedures. In addition, the hospital will gain access to the latest technologies, innovative hardware solutions and training in the most renowned world centers.
