The results of the Times Higher Education 2022 institutional ranking have been published. Over 1600 universities from all over the world have been classified in the ranking. The University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań maintained its position from last year, in the range of 1001-1200. 

The World University Rankings assess universities across 5 areas of education, research, citation, internationalization and knowledge transfer. The best universities of the ranking include: Oxford University, California Institute of Technology and Harvard University.

In Poland, the 1st and 2nd places are invariably held by the Jagiellonian University (501-600) and the University of Warsaw (601-800). The 3rd place belongs to the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań, ex aequo with other universities classified in the 1001-1200 range.

The university in Poznań obtained the best result in the Research index assessing the quality of research. The indicator covers the results of reputation surveys, research income and scientific productivity.
