The University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań will launch a new study- Game studies. The intention of the originators is to gather experts from all of Poland in the capital of Wielkopolska. Thus, Poznań will become the first academic centre in Poland with a separate course devoted to games. 

– If our plans are approved, from October 1, 2021, we will inaugurate a new course within undergraduate studies, called the Game studies- says Prof. Wojciech Otto, the University of Adam Mickiewicz, director of the Institute of Film, Media and Audiovisual Arts.

He emphasizes, that this is the first step to implement broader research and teaching vision, which in its final shape will become a research centre, based on cooperation with recognized researchers and companies involved in the production and promotion of games.
