The Faculty of Political Sciences and Journalism at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań wants to create the Dron Center as the first at the Polish university. At the beginning, as part of the awarded grant, the university will buy several top-quality devices. Already a dozen lecturers have been trained to teach students.

The drone workshops will be included in the curricula in the following fields: National security; State management; Journalism and Social Communication. They will be practical courses. Most hours students will spend on learning to move the drones, firstly through professional flight simulators, then the real drone purchased by the university.

Students after finishing the workshop will be able to receive the certificates of: VLOS – Visual Line of Sight, and BVLOS – Beyond Visual Line of Sight.
