University of Agriculture in Kraków (BSP) is launching a postgraduate course on drones Practical aspects of data processing obtained with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), starting in November this year.
The studies are designed to improve and deepen knowledge on the broad use of BSP in the economy. Over the course of two semesters, classes are planned in: aviation law, geodesy, cartography, photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS, laser scanning, environmental analysis or the use of Python language.
The URK points out that knowledge and skills regarding BSP will help graduates to carry out day-to-day tasks and make decisions with spatial, environmental or economic implications. The depth of knowledge related to the use of UAVs will also improve processes in which spatial data may prove to be a decisive factor in final decisions.
