On 19-21 April 2023. The University of Bialystok (UwB) is inviting visitors to the Education Quality Days with a programme of 20 events, including lectures, debates, workshops, discussions, training sessions and a trade fair.

The aim of the Education Quality Days is to promote a culture of quality at the University of Białystok by raising awareness of the importance of pro-quality activities and creating a space for mutual inspiration among academic teachers, said the rector’s plenipotentiary for education quality, Prof. Elżbieta Awramiuk from the Faculty of Philology at UwB.

The opening lecture of the event “Future of education today” will be delivered by Özgür Özlük from Minerva University in San Francisco (USA). The meeting will be held in English.

Dr Jakub Brdulak, Professor at the Warsaw School of Economics, will speak about what quality in higher education is. The special guest of the seminar ‘The teaching-research nexus in higher education: paradoxes, myths and practices’ will be Prof. Georgeta Ion from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, a researcher on the relationship between research and education in higher education.
