University of Casimir the Great in Bydgoszcz receive two medals for the at the inventions exhibition in Moscow

Two inventions of scientists of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz (UKW) won the medals of the 23rd International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovative Technologies “Archimedes” in Moscow. For the first time in history, the exhibition took place online.

The exhibition was attended by 314 participants from 24 countries and 35 regions of the Russian Federation presenting over 600 inventions. The gold medal was given to the teranostatic apparatus supporting people with lymphoedema. Its authors are Dr Eng. Katarzyna Kazimierska-Drobny, Prof. Eng. Mariusz Kaczmarek, Tomasz Fąs, Joanna Nowak, Karol Pawełkowski from the faculty of mechatronics.

The silver medal was awarded Dr Eng. Maciej Piechowiak, Dr Piotr Kotlarz, Eng. Piotr Żmudziński – from the Institute of Computer Science – and Marcin Kempiński from the faculty of mechatronics for the integrated suspended dust measurement system 2.5 / 10 based on effective sensors and low-emission radiotransmission.
