The University of Economics in Katowice took the 3rd place in the country in the 4th ranking of “Rzeczpospolita” economic universities, rising by one position compared to last year. The jury of the ranking compared the results obtained by universities in terms of teaching quality, internationalization, scientific potential and graduates’ careers.

The ranking is based on data from the Integrated Information System on Higher Education and Science and from a nationwide system for monitoring the economic fate of university graduates. It compared six universities that could conduct full three-cycle economic studies.

– The promotion in the ranking is the result of our hard work to increase the prestige of studies at the University of Economics in Katowice. We are constantly increasing the requirements for candidates and students and we put special emphasis on the quality of education – says the rector, Dr Robert Tomanek, Prof. of University of Economics in Katowice.
