In this year’s recruitment for full-time studies at the Katowice University of Economics, 3821 candidates applied, which is 269 more than last year. 1525 people have been accepted, which gives an average of 2.51 candidates for one place.
Most candidates chose finances and accounting, but the hardest thing was to get into engineer’s logistics, where over 6 candidates applied for one place. Similarly to the previous year, the university increased the requirements on average by 32%.
– Due to the growing interest in our studies and the adopted policy of improving the quality of education, we increase the requirements for candidates. The border score to be accepted for studies is higher – says Robert Tomanek, Prof. University of Economics and Rector of the University.
