The University of Economics in Katowice has signed an agreement with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). The signing of the agreement assumes the continuation of cooperation between the signatories, which started in the 1990s. The subject of the agreement is partnership cooperation in teaching activities and implementation of projects in social security.
The signatories will organize conferences on social security issues, cooperate with the media, organize generally available postgraduate studies in economics and management in the social security system and deliver lectures on social security conducted by ZUS employees.
The University declares its readiness to cooperate in research, expert and consulting projects, and ZUS will enable students and doctoral students of the university to complete internships or apprenticeships, it will also conduct consultations for students, doctoral students and university employees in the field of social security.
