The University of Economics in Katowice is implementing the project “Near – Internationally – Throughout life – a comprehensive program of sustainable development of the University of Economics in Katowice” as part of the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development. For this purpose, the National Center for Research and Development allocated almost PLN 5 million to the university.

Thanks to the subsidy, three new education programs will be developed. Students will benefit from a series of trainings, workshops and project tasks as well as three paid internships. Teaching staff will take part in national and international internships, and the administrative staff will increase their competences through training and postgraduate studies. The project will also facilitate the use of the website and platforms that will be translated into English. It also provides for restructuring activities in the area of ​​university management.
More than 1000 students and nearly 300 employees will be supported within the project.
