The University of Economics in Poznań, in cooperation with the National Bank of Poland, is organizing the first “Finansomania” National Olympiad of Knowledge about Finances. The project complements the national offer of scientific Olympiads and competitions addressed to secondary school students. 

The organization of this Olympiad was based on the previous competitions of young people and students within the Financial Knowledge Competitions “Finansomania” and “Finansomania Junior”, which were very popular among the young generation in the Wielkopolskie province and neighboring provinces.

The aim of the Olympiad is to increase the financial awareness of young people and to stimulate and develop their interests in financial issues, as well as to encourage secondary school students to explore topics related to money, stock exchange, financial institutions and taxes. The main topic of the first Olimpiad is banking. Applications for the competition can be submitted from October 1.
