Wroclaw University of Economics participates in the group of three economic universities, which managed to get grants in the HS4 panel of this year’s OPUS competition of the National Science Center.
The awarded projects of the Wrocław University include: “Socio-economic, environmental and technical determinants of energy poverty in rural areas in Poland” by Dr Eng. Arkadiusz Piwowar from the engineering and economic department and “Sustainable urban logistics of the last mile and returns on the e-commerce market. Perspective of various stakeholder groups” by Dr Eng. Maja Kiba-Janiak from the faculty of economics, management and tourism.
OPUS is a competition for research projects, including financing the purchase or manufacture of scientific and research equipment necessary for the implementation of the projects. Scientists can apply for funding regardless of their academic titles as well as scientific achievements.
