The University of Gdańsk established the Association of Physical Culture of the University of Gdańsk. The association, whose partner is Olivia Business Center, will organize and run classes and sports sections aimed at developing physical activity among students as well as children and teenagers.

The initiative to establish the association is an expression of the founders’ concern for the development of all forms of physical activity aimed at improving the physical and mental condition of young people and students and their support in achieving better sports results at all levels.
The association will also take care of people exposed to social exclusion, in particular people with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Another task of the association is also to organize the participation of individual teams in competitions organized by the Polish Basketball Association and other Polish and international sports associations.
