The University of Gdańsk – as the only university in Poland – was evaluated in the world ranking of Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2019. The University was ranked 301+ among young universities from all over the world. This is very good information, especially in the context of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary.

The 13 evaluation criteria include the teaching environment, scientific research, the number and quality of publications as well as innovation and social impact and the prestige of the university. The place in the fourth hundred sets is a great distinction for the University of Gdańsk and testifies about its dynamic development, recognition and strengthening its position on the world stage.

The Times Higher Education Young University Ranking is a world ranking of the best universities with different profiles, which operate no more than 50 years. The indicators in the statement have been adjusted in order to reduce the importance of the reputation that universities have just created.
