The University of Gdańsk (UG) has joined the nationwide agreement establishing a Council of Experts of Universities for Education and Integration of Migrants and Refugees. Advanced UG research in the field of migration will be a valuable contribution to the Council’s activities.

Different academic centers have varied experience in the implementation of research, education programs and projects with the participation of governmental, non-governmental and international partners. Cooperation under the agreement will enable all partners to access the results of these studies, work out their recommendations and to use them in the education of students.

The University of Gdańsk can offer its experience to cooperation nationwide in the field of research on contemporary migration of Poles, teaching Polish as a foreign language, intercultural psychology, education of students with migration experience, culturally adequate social work and internationalization of universities.
