The University of Gdańsk and Santander Bank Polska SA have signed a cooperation agreement under the Santander Universidades project. The main areas of cooperation are the development of new technologies, supporting the culture of entrepreneurship, establishing international contacts, scientific research, substantive support for the university community and the organization of internships for students.

This is another cooperation agreement that the University of Gdańsk signs with public and private institutions in order to strengthen joint scientific and didactic and organizational areas of activities, as part of the strategy of closer cooperation with the socio-economic environment.

Santander Universidades is one of the key social initiatives of the Santander Group, aimed to carry out projects supporting higher education in the world for over 20 years. In Poland, the program has been operating since 2011, and it gathers 58 universities.
