The University of Gdańsk will implement the “UG Available” project – a comprehensive program to eliminate barriers to access to education for people with disabilities. Activities will be co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development.

The main goal of the project is to improve the accessibility of the University of Gdańsk for students with disabilities by implementing a comprehensive solution focused on organizational, architectural, technological, educational changes and the organization of training to improve competence in working with people with disabilities.

The project includes construction of an external passenger elevator and creation of a professional labeling system for the campus of the university, launching the website of the Office for People with Disabilities, purchase of specialized equipment and adaptation of internet portals and e-learning trainings to the needs of people with disabilities.
