The University of Gdańsk was ranked 2nd in the Forbes’ Poland’s Best Employers 2021 ranking, in the “education and research” category, and 31st in the overall list of 300 best Polish employers. Over 10,000 employees participated in the survey.  

The Poland’s Best Employers 2021 Forbes ranking was created on the same principles as in Western Europe or in the American Forbes initiatives. Employers were researched by Statista, a co-creator of the most famous “Best Employers” rankings in the world.

The research was based on a list of approximately 1,800 employers employing at least 250 employees in Poland. The respondents were asked to express their opinion on several dozen statements describing the activities of their employer in seven main areas: image and growth; development and prospects; employee relations and management; wage; working conditions and equipment; sustainable development and workload.
