The University of Gdańsk will implement the project “Baltic Science Network – A Science Powerhouse” thanks to funding from the Interreg Region of the Baltic Sea Program.
The project is a continuation of the “Baltic Science Network” project, in which UG also participated as a partner. It aims to implement scientific policy in the macro-regional dimension and ensure better representation of interests of the Baltic Sea Region at the European Union level in terms of the researcher mobility and innovation excellence in the areas of Photon and Neutron Science, Life Sciences and Welfare State.
The main objective is to increase the competence of ministries and funding agencies to design and implement transnational research infrastructure support programs in order to cooperate in research and innovation. The project coordinator is Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg – Ministry of Science, Research and Equalities.
