The University of Gdańsk has obtained almost PLN 1.2 million for improving the competence of doctoral students and academic staff through international scholarship exchange from the PROM program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The project provides for the financing of scholarships to cover the costs related to the participation of doctoral students and academic staff in short forms of international education, lasting from 5 to 30 days. Scholarships are addressed primarily for students obtaining materials for doctoral dissertations / scientific articles, for their participation in foreign conferences, courses, workshops and internships.

The project will allow foreign trips of PhD students and academic staff of the University of Gdańsk, as well as the arrival of scientists from foreign universities. In total, 123 people will participate in the exchange. The project will be implemented until September 2020.
