The Financial Ombudsman Academy classes were inaugurated at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdansk. This is the beginning of a unique nationwide cooperation between the Financial Ombudsman Office and the University of Gdańsk, which will include, in particular, an innovative system of student traineeships.

The Financial Ombudsman Academy is a system of student internships, combining elements of training and working on specific cases under the guidance of specialists from the Financial Ombudsman Office in Warsaw. During the internship, students will work on specific cases of the Ombudsman’s clients in the various departments of the Office and participate in training sessions conducted by experts. 

By completing the Academy, students of law, and in future editions of the programme also of other faculties, will be able to gain advanced knowledge of the mechanisms of protection of clients – entities of the financial market, as well as many other practical skills.
