The University of Gdańsk and China Ocean University in Quingdao have signed a cooperation agreement on the exchange of employees, students and PhD students and joint scientific research.

The cooperation agreement, which will first comprise the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography, Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law and Administration, was signed by the rectors of both universities, Prof. Jerzy Gwizdała and Prof. Yu Zhigang during a delegation visit from China in Gdansk.

One of the points of the visit was a meeting at the University Oceanograf research ship. The ship’s crew presented the unit’s research potential and its equipment. The Chinese delegation was very impressed with the modern solutions used in this floating research laboratory.
