Cooperation in the field of student internships, research and development projects, organizing training and conferences, as well as knowledge transfer and commercialization of research results – these are the main assumptions of the agreement between the University of Gdańsk and the Port of Gdansk – said Beata Czechowska-Derkacz, a spokesman for the university.

The agreement will allow to organize the internships for outstanding students, as well as trainings within the expert knowledge and experience of the University’s academic staff. The area of joint activities also includes research and development projects as well as support for scientific research relevant to maritime economy. Joint scientific conferences and symposia will also be organized.

The agreement is another initiative within the framework of the University’s cooperation with public institutions, enterprises and organizations in which the university offers its scientific-research and organizational potential.
