The University of Gdańsk is launching new course in the field of “Telemedicine and projects in health care. Health Care Technology”. This is the first such type of course in Poland, developed as part of the project “Development Program of the University of Gdańsk (ProUG)”.
Telemedicine is a course that will certainly improve work in healthcare. It is a form of providing medical services and distance healthcare with the aim of improving the patient’s health. The lecturers are experts from Pomeranian universities and representatives of health care sector enterprises.
Graduates will be ready to work in healthcare entities implementing the latest organizational and technical solutions, as well as to manage such processes. They will learn about modern telemedicine, telematics and biomedical solutions, as well as learn how to effectively and legally implement them in health facilities. They will also receive comprehensive knowledge about project management in healthcare.
