The University of Life Sciences in Poznań has signed sales contracts for the commercial use of five technologies developed by university scientists and the Institute of Natural Fibers and Herb Plants in Poznań. The buyer is company Sanprobi.
The transaction concerned technologies developed as part of the Applied Research Program of a Poznań university. The formulations developed include 10 strains of probiotic bacteria, combined into several compositions that protect farm animals against the pathogenic Escherichia coli and Clostridium perfringens.
Sanprobi is a company with exclusively Polish capital, which was founded in 2008 and quickly became an acknowledged expert in Poland in probiotic supplementation for humans. The company conducts numerous research involving researchers from Polish and foreign research centers. The idea of Sanprobi is to create new solutions supporting microbiota.
