University of Life Sciences (UP) in Lublin, represented by the rector, Prof. Krzysztof Kowalczyk, on February 16, concluded an agreement with Texom Sp. z o.o. from Krakow, which will implement the first stage of construction of the Research Station and the Teaching and Training Center of Horsemanship and Hippotherapy in Lublin, along with the necessary technical infrastructure and land development.

The first part includes the construction of the station building and infrastructure. The contract value is over PLN 15 million. The works are scheduled to be completed in May 2022.

The facility will include covered riding arena, hippodrome, housing buildings for dogs, alpacas and donkeys, a modern physiotherapy center for horses and a hotel section for 40 animals.

The center will be used by students of Hippology and Horse Riding as well as Animal Care and Animal Therapy. The University of Life Sciences has a highly specialized research and teaching staff and is the only university in Poland that offers these unique studies.
