The most grants in the competition of the National Science Center MINIATURA were obtained by young scientists from the University of Lodz.
In the latest call of the MINIATURE, the University of Lodz received funding for 5 projects. The second and third places were taken by the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the Catholic University of Lublin, which have earned respectively three and two grants.
The awarded projects included, among others, the proposal of Dr. Szymon Wiśniewski from the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of the University of Lodz. He will examine how the behavior of Lodz residents regarding public transport has changed due to the limitation of trade on Sundays. For this project, the Lodz scientist will receive over 35 thousand PLN.
